I think it says a lot about Silksong's difficulty that I enjoyed Hollow Knight's steel soul mode a lot but do not even want to bother with steel soul for Silksong. The game is too long and too punishing for anyone but the no-hit speedrun freaks to have even a chance.

No one is fighting the Illuminate right now because the faction is fundamentally broken.
