I hosted a roundtable with area environmental leaders for a discussion on the health of the Adirondacks and strategies to protect this invaluable natural resource. The state will need to prioritize environmental funding in response to recent federal rollbacks.

I joined environmental advocates for a boat ride yesterday on Raquette Lake, and we discussed the critical threats facing our region’s water sources and how the state can better support local Lake Associations in protecting these fragile freshwater ecosystems.
