Today I went back to visit my old neighbour. The lady who took over caring for the foxes, badgers, squirrels & birds. Her English is limited but we talked in “wildlife” over tea. I still have seed & food delivered to her weekly for their care. Worth every penny. #AnimalsCount❤️

I’m lucky enough to be able to leave Winter with her gran when the weather is rotten so I can brave the chaos & get to the animals. I would never abandon them 🫶🏽 #AnimalsCount ❤️

Sometimes when I can’t sleep I worry that I’ll never rescue again. Then I remember that at 7 months pregnant I did a 5 hour round trip across London to get this abandoned terrified baby to safety. Of course I’ll rescue again. #AnimalRescue ❤️

Yesterday, in honour of Geoffrey we walked for 4 hours feeding all the hundreds of wildlife along the way. I hoped they would pass a message to him that I love him, I miss him & that everyday I tell his little sister all about him. He will always be mine & I will always be his❤️

It’s exactly one year today since my beautiful boy Geoffrey closed his eyes, took his last breath & left me. I fought so hard for his life but it wasn’t enough. I promised his lifeless body that I’d see him again one day & I still believe that. Wait for me baby🌈 #Grief 💔

We’re on our soggy way to a hospital appointment. Our lovely friend Cliff is taking care of the crows. But I’ve loaded up the buggy up anyway because I’m sure there’ll be needy wildlife along the way. There always are in cities☹️ #AnimalsCount❤️

I desperately want to delete twitter but I’ve built up a community of over 23k followers & together we have saved thousands & thousands of animals lives through direct rescued & campaigns. It’s not about be & that’s why I can’t let go.
