Ghost of Yotei is an unexpectedly good game, considering my previous disappointment with Ghost of Tsushima. I found it to be quite similar to the Assassin’s Creed games of that era. However, the story of Yotei and the character of Atsu are well-crafted. I’m looking forward to completing this game.

The Pitt season 2 returns with an exciting episode(s). It’s challenging to create a compelling story solely based on character development without a central plot.

The Dan Trachtenberg trilogy of Predator movies are the best ones in the series. Loved Predator Badlands! Of the three, this is the weakest yet stronger than most of the other Predator movies!

The staggering and annoying amount of pill and DoorDash ads on Hulu is overwhelming. It’s as if the best content is buried beneath the worst. Even though I’m paying for the content, it’s frustrating.

I like the fact that Fantastic Four: First Steps acknowledges that flying near a black hole will dilate the time. Superman plainly just ignored it! A small nit but worth pointing out. I liked Fantastic Four a little bit more than Superman. I was not expecting this outcome tbh!

The new Donkey Kong game is great, but I can't stop playing Word Play by Game Maker's Toolkit. It offers a quick, satisfying fix that's incredibly compelling and keeps me coming back. Don't sleep on this one!

Is it a hot take if I say that I didn’t like Superman. It’s fine as a summer spectacle but the story is so much rushed. Feels like you are dropped into season 2 of the show. David Corenswet, otoh, is great in that role. I good successor and contrast to Cavil’s serious Man of Steel!

Finally beat Cyberpunk 2077. One hell of a story and a great game!

The Last of Us season 2 episode 3 was another good one. Dina stands out, and I love the casting choice. Ellie is still cheerful compared to the game, but hopefully, she’ll become the badass she is in the game soon.

Another random reminder that Resident Evil 4 stands as the best summer blockbuster equivalent to video games!

I’m one of the few who actually liked Abby in The Last of Us Part 2. I believe she had a more significant character development in the story compared to Ellie. After this week’s episode and the recent changes made to the show, my admiration for Abby has grown even stronger.

So, I took my kid to watch the Minecraft movie. It was surprisingly enjoyable. If you have kids, I highly recommend watching it with them, especially if they play Minecraft. You’ll understand why the game has become so popular in the pop culture.

So Path of Exile 2 doesn’t let me play with Mouse + Keyboard past the initial tutorial area. Had to switch to DualSense and now having good fun. Have to say it’s better than Diablo 4 (so far)

Close to a decade later, The Rise of the Tomb Raider still feels amazing and tight. The gameplay, mechanics, combat scenarios, and cinematic are all top notch! This was the best uncharted like game until Uncharted 4 came out the next year!

I need to STOP buying any new (or old) CRPGs i come across that has good reviews! I cannot (or more aptly, will not) play most of these. The logic of keep buying books regardless of you completing them doesn't apply to video games.
