Travel can be so stressful! Travel to Euston. Train late so will miss connection and arrive an hour late. Avanti guard wonât authorise me to stay on this train so had to buy a new ticket for ÂŁ50 ! What a complete mess and rip off!

Delighted to help Lancaster BID to brighten up our City! The donation came from a grant from Northern Rail. The money is being used to fund our contractors, Ashlea, to supply additional plants to brighten up the city centre.

My University is planning to cram 130 humanities/arts PGRs with their own desks into this office which has desks for 30 and which has multiple outstanding H&S defects. We are told itâs all about building community. Yeah right!

A litter pick organised by Lancaster Civic Vision on Sunday morning cleared a huge amount of rubbish from the area of the Windy Hill Carpark. 2 volunteers spent 2 hours clearing, bagging and taking away rubbish from the area. More litter picks soon - watch this space, volunteers always welcome!

I am increasingly disappointed that the concerns of the
#LGBTQ+
community over what the Supreme Court judgement means for them are not yet being addressed. I have written to the Government asking them to make clear how trans and non binary rights will be protected.

These had been tough days. Just as they would be when your basic rights have been stripped away and the legal protections you had are made worthless. Many people have reached out and stood up. Thank you everyone for your love and support. Dark days but you bring light and human decency.

A grim day for everyone in our community. It goes to show that our hard-won rights are vulnerable to attack and can never be taken for granted. It feels crushing right now. The law is an ass thatâs for sure and I doubt this is the end but merely a stage along the way.
