i saw symphony x in concert last night! honestly i believe symphony x should be way more famous, they should be selling out huge stadiums like metallica.

i just bought some concert tickets that had "all-in pricing" that showed the full cost "including all fees." when i did the checkout there was an additional ticketing fee and a processing fee that weren't included in the "all-in" price. like seriously, what is the point of doing that?

i discovered today that people actually pay money to join a streaming service that still shows commercials. i don't understand that. i watch tubi sometimes and it has commercials, but its free so i'm okay with that. but the whole point of paying money is so you don't have to see commercials.

unsurprisingly, my plan to start working on my fiction again this month has not panned out. before i start bringing my laptop to work again, i have two more books i want to finish reading, then i'll get back to writing. i'm really hoping i can focus on writing next year (i say this every year).

watching the nfl highlights from yesterday and i cannot believe the browns somehow came back and beat the packers. they were down 10-0 with less than 4 minutes left in the game! i'll still never forgive them for the watson debacle, but that was a ridiculous win, the packers should be embarrassed.

okay, so i'm absolutely never getting the anastyr board game, got it. odds were pretty low in the first place, but now there is zero chance it will ever be made. at least i have some closure now.

there's so many metal concerts coming in my area lately it's hard to pick and choose which ones to go to. there are metal shows next thursday, friday, and saturday and i really can't go to all three. plus i just found out about another new show in just a few weeks i had no idea about!

went to my friends house last night and we did a brief playtest of a new board game i designed. it went pretty well, interesting to see how he approached the game mechanics versus how i expect the game to be played. hopefully we get to try it out with some other friends at some point.

i'm thinking of making another account where i can screech like an insane person about political things. i really don't want to do that here, since this account is for maintaining my sanity, not destroying it. but sometimes i really feel the need to screech about politics, you know.
