I'm nowhere near a competent programmer but one of my hopes with my games is that I'll optimise them well enough to work on mid-range to low-range PCs. :3 I have an old laptop I am using as a benchmark so I can hold myself to it! (Or try...)

I wonder if this looks ok for the average person? I made it so the camera looks instantly at wherever the mouse points (with a clamp). I had damping beforehand, and even spring rotation, but both felt swimmy and made me motion sick. #indiedev #gamedev

In my delivery game, there are loads of very silly products you can deliver to people, products that populate the stores. Chocolate ramen, onigiri with a silly mascot, my personal favourite, the Mesmelon, and silly juice. Always lookin' for silly ideas :3 #gamedev #indiedev

why is it that so many #indiedev #gamedev content creators are so... negative? like, it's not uncommon to see thumbnails w/ "GIVE UP NOW" or "YOUR IDEA SUCKS" and so on...? Game dev is hard for sure, but you gotta stay a little positive.

i did a thing!!!! for my lil' horror game, i've finally added a minimap that shows where the player's armoured truck is, but the controls are still tied to the player's movement and not to somethin like a steering wheel. post processing effects... not yet :( #gamedev #indiedev
