The holiday home we're staying in is next door to a static caravan. There is a relatively new BMW parked next to it. Grass has grown around it and it's almost invisible. Someone has totally died in that caravan and no one's noticed. Right?

I had a lovely time last night speaking to an online writers' group about my experiences as an (almost) successful indie author. I know these events are technically for the attendees to learn, but I always find that telling my story helps me to process what I'm doing as well. It's a win win!

I generally don't mind writing being a solitary pursuit, but when you hit a block (or decide that you current WIP is rubbish) then it helps to have a partner who is happy to listen to your rubbish plot idea...and then casually toss out a suggestion that is 100 times better!
