Oh hey, it’s yah boi… reporting live from the fourth floor of my local hospital in post op.. cause my appendix decided to fuck around starting two days ago. Now it’s no longer a part of me! I still got a wicked kidney infection too though and can’t exactly yeet those for misbehaving like this.

In other news, I successfully changed jobs recently and I'm moving over to a company I actually value quite a bit.. still working for a corporate retailer but it's in the pet industry which I care far more about so.. there's that.

Making a solid effort to catch up in life as usual.. but this leaves me without the physical and mental energy to do the whole social thing..

These bones are yet again older.... So anyway.

Scrolling on my feed and I'm seeing a lot of posts that don't make any sense from people I don't know and I'm wondering why I'm seeing all this suddenly. Then I realized that I accidentally got switched over to discover.. x. X

Trying to culture some daphnia and other aquatic microfauna to feed my baby fish but these damn eggs just float at the surface of the water and it doesn't matter how much I oxygenate stir or try to mix in the eggs, they still stick to the surface and dry up after a days evaporation.

And despite the impending Doom, that is looming over me, I am still desperately trying to celebrate my daughter's fast approaching 12th birthday somehow, to keep my children's awareness and suffering from our current situation to a minimum..

The realization that since October 2023, I have had three colonoscopies, a Sigmoidoscopy, was diagnosed with a fourth autoimmune disease, lost 48lbs in the span of two months and then gained 38lbs back and now yoyo, had a biopsy and major surgery, and have been admitted to the hospital 4 times now.

Having to choose between groceries and keeping the lights and water on again.. the cost of living shouldn't be allowed to go this high without our pay not also being increased.. I don't have the physical ability to stand in line at the food bank and then walk home with whatever box is available.

Getting really fed up here in Canada of all the Canadians saying Americans are all talk, or not actually doing enough to stop Trump or save ourselves and stop the downfall of our nation..

I had surgery and recovery isn't going well.. like I'm recovering I think, but at great sacrifice.. and I have no idea if everything else that's suffering because of it will recover from this period of my absence.

I'm out of the hospital finally and despite being in Canada I'm still in serious financial distress, but not from hospital bills, but due to missed work and the lack of sick benefits available and EI not being readily accessible.. paired with all the other economic disparity. I would like a break..

Got sick again on Thursday the 23rd and ended up stuck in bed just getting sicker till Monday when I wound up in the hospital again where I have been stuck since.. I'm told I'm here until the 4th at least.. I don't know what I'm going to do... There is no livable disability supplemental income here

My oldest child wanted to be a wolf for Halloween but we are on a budget so I'm making the costumes, but because I am not about to make her first partial fursuit just yet..She says that her second choice was a "Dark angel" And the urge to make her biblically accurate wings is rising now..

I want to yell more things into this void but I know I'm not alone, and every one here is just as sad and frustrated as me.

So I made another suncatcher for myself.. I thought maybe I can make these to sell.. would definitely help right now. Problem is, I have no idea who would even buy one? And I can't really afford to invest in any way to set up shop and attempt to monetize my crafts.

Sometimes I wish I had the social battery and functions to be online more and maybe even have like an influencer-esque situation going on so that in times like these when life is punching me into the ground, I would have some sort of outlet or something I could reach out to?

Still sick, kinda feels like stuff got worse after the scope.. my immediate after procedure paperwork said they found mild active inflammation in my upper left of my colon.. they took lots of biopsies.. I'm probably going to be sent back to work before I get the actual results..

From the news it feels like maybe we should be going back to wishing everyone a wrathful pride though.. to the Dolls with bricks in their clutch, I'm right behind you with whatever I can manage even if it's just a war drum and my failing voice.

I have been sick for what feels like forever, but in actuality was maybe just a little over a month- with like, an infection of some sort. I just finished an intense round of antibiotics on Sunday, but yesterday I was struck with fever, chills, and full body aches out of the blue.

Everything I have to say ends up being absolutely cringe garbage days later after I've already posted it.. trying so hard not to go back and just delete everything..

I have.. All the supplies to be an online content creator... I even have the space now too.. what I lack is the time And probably the courage? Not sure if it's courageous or not.. But it's definitely not something I think I could honestly pull off despite every other aspect being there.

I might have made a slight mistake.. I bought a tacky glue for a crafting project and I might have been a little presumptuous on it lacking fumes.. was working with it in a closed room, noticed it smelled a little funny but nothing horribly offensive, like a stronger Elmer's, but now my head hurts.

I really enjoy the song Messy by Lola Young, but sometimes I struggle to fully let myself enjoy it, because it's not relatable to me as much as many other people who it's currently resonating with. I've never actually had the same struggles depicted in the song in the same way.

On the topic of bones, I have so many boxes of bones left untouched because work has left me without any free time for my hobbies.. sometimes I wonder how other full time workers have lives outside their jobs..
