Vargan is convinced it's his fault Surina, a cleric who was his moral guide, died. He put the duty of a paladin too heavy on his shoulders, so he believes that because he did not protect her, her death was his fault. I haven't developed her death until we end our Strahd game. Anything is possible 😅

Final party member of our Strahd Game Gale Dekarios. Yep, THE Gale Dekarios 😁 My partner LOVES Gale and the party needed a wizard. Vargan knew Gale before the events of Baldur's Gate 3. How does Vargan or Gale not know each other when they reunited? The tadpole made them forget each other.

Vargan was raised an orphan, his name was given to him by them. When he had died and resurrected, he became a paladin. By then, he was asked for a surname, so he gave himself the name Dawnblade, in recognition to his new life given by Lathander

Orya’s family name is Fyrlisse. Fyr is fire in old English and lisse does come from the elvish language meaning sweetness and grace. Combined the name is meant to mean warm and kind, which is ironic for most everyone with the family name #tavqotd #tav #oc #bg3

In our Strahd game, my partner's sister wanted to join our game with a character in mind. A forest gnome druid named Frog who can only say "Frog", but Lavender, the satyr wild mage sorcerer, is the only one who can understand her (a la Groot and Rocket)

Vargan had to go to Avernus to save Karlach's life, leaving a very understanding Shadowheart behind. When Vargan offered to go, Wyll confessed his feelings for Karlach and went with them

I wasn't sure what to expect from Vargan when I first made him After I made his backstory, I grew closer to him, and when I finished and saw him with all of his friends and companions, I knew Vargan was more than just a BG3 character I now play him anywhere I can in a Forgotten Realms game
