Two years ago today, I was watching Dabheidh, a deerstalker neighbor, deliver a load of turnips to his herd using "the turnip truck." He'd leave piles of turnips at strategic spots in the glen and they LOVED it! I know where ALL our deerstalkers feed their charges, so I can always get shots of deer.

I got kilted and booted up for a good walk today, and treated myself to a hot Italian sandwich at the newly opened Goss Avenue Deli. It's starring Tony Sopranos favourite sandwich meat, gabagool, (American Italian for capicola.) It was fabulous!!

Drummers, WTF? Forget where you would buy drum heads, how would you TUNE the bloody things?! Each corner is going to bear tension... I'm flummoxed.

Here's a hint about my age: I'm so old that when I joined the Navy, Sailors could still have beards.

I had to stand so close to this mural because of the sun backlighting it, that I had to shoot in panorama mode to get the whole thing. It's a very psychedelic take on the "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" trope.
