This is a diving humpback whale I painted in acrylic on a feather last year. It was a very painstaking process because I had to paint sooo gently to not ruin the feather, but I learned a lot about control. The background is just soft pastel on paper. Stay playful!

Last year I did a series of re-imagined creatures of legend from around the world. One of my favourites was this little teacup version of a Ninki Nanka. From West African Folklore Ninki Nanka is said to be the most frightening spirit around the lower Gambia. But mine is just a little guy.

All this shitstorm from Evangelicals about the pastor calling for compassion just shows how the Evangelical movement is not religious, it's political. It's been an insidious disease in this country for 45 years and it needs to be treated as a political group, not a religious one.
