I thought it was better to be honest with the doc about my capacity. I would change my eating if it were as easy as that. It has taken me SO long to get to a place where I am honest and open about my food struggles. I will make changes where I can, but a 6.7mmol/L isn't worth my mental health.

Dr just called about my blood work. My sugars are a bit high. He said I could take meds or try and change my diet. I honestly answered "well THAT'S not gonna happen." When he seemed surprised, I followed with the fact that food is already a massive struggle for me. I don't want to fck with that!
