I've slept on and off as much as I can. Pain continues at about 8. My legs look like there are tennis balls under my skin. I can't get be a human so I have taken and edible, ordered McD's and put on DuckTales. fuck it.

Pain is at a solid 8 today. Not sure if I could get out of bed of I wanted to. Should be fun when I need to pee.

I am really sad and angry at the lack of agency I have had and continue to have in my life. My childhood was comprised of adults who c/wouldn't make good choices for me. In my adolescence, everything was decided by staff and social works. Now it's chronic illness and "other stuff". I am sad/mad.

I have to be honest, fibromyalgia sucks.

Trying something new today. This is one of my favourite steps of getting through a depressisode. Food helps motivate me to get out of me bed and DO something. Today I am getting ready for date night tomorrow and we are making ramen together. Sometimes hope looks like a boiled egg.

I have been doing a DEEP dive with @mikeduncan.bsky.social on his podcast about Revolutions, it is really impactful. My political science degree has given me a lens to view the past, present and future. This podcast let me use that lens to see how history just repeats. What comes next? Its worrying.

I sometimes get frustrated with myself. I have been a grown ass adult a lot longer than I was an abused little girl. So why do those years have so much impact?! Then I have to remind myself that being a person is like being a house, EVERYTHING hinges on the foundation. My foundation is bad.

Gary has me all worried because he has not eaten in a few weeks. But he seems healthy and happy. And as always takes every opportunity to stick his tail in my nose. I love him. 💛🧡

I am working on session zero notes for a new game. I have gained a lot of confidence as a DM and I am really looking forward to running a game that more reflects the kind of collaborative story telling adventure that I love to play in. It's exciting inviting people into your imagination.

Ol' lefty log is having a really bad day

I've got a terrible headache so I'm just gonna lay here a while and listen to an episode or two of Revolution podcast. We are just getting to Maximilien Robespierre and the committee of public safety.

Today was a lot. But for a few hours I got to sit around a table and play make-believe with some great friends. That means a lot.

And now I get electrocution for a while.

So we are looking at ureteral reimplant surgery, but my current team doesn't do this so it's time for the specialist to call a specialist. I feel like crawling in my bed and pretending to be a lump. But next I have to go to physio. FML.

One of the difficulties I have expressing my feelings about bladder disease is that it's a direct result of being abused as a child. So every update, appointment, pillow or test forces me to examine the hell that got me here. It's emotionally exhausting.

Off to have my kidney doctor give me the downlow. Please cross your fingies for me.

I am feeling a little nervous about tomorrow's appointment. Miss Buffy is helping.
