When are folks going to realize that conservatives win because they play every card, clean or dirty, they can play within the "rules". The rest literally aren't even in the game.

I wish there were real forums at universities like their used to be on issues like fear, media literacy, understanding civics, etc. People are risk adverse and fearful - to states that stunt growth and make change impossible. We need to get talking again about these topics

This is a piece I wrote last year that remains the most read on my website. I wrote it as the same folks praising me, behind the scenes, were making my life hell and I just had to articulate the hypocrisy of platitudes. Make the concept Black Excellence stand for Excellent treatment of Black people.

Why do politicians want to keep that job forever? It's not supposed to be a forever job.

Not.surprising. Why all events like this need to get back to their activist roots as corporate might help you grow the size but when they're ready they also hold the strings to completely bail. Pride can still happen, maybe not on this scale doesn't mean it won't be just as good for the community.

I really believe the populous is more afraid of things working than of things remaining chronically bad. Only explanation for the outcome of recent and forthcoming elections. We also need to get back to teaching leadership classes in high school.
