Thursday Murder Club movie proves once again that the book(s) are always better than the movie/TV show. Some poor casting choices and whoever styled the Joyce character clearly hadn't read/listened to the audiobook. And Ibrahim is demoted to a caricature not a character. Screenplay writing abysmal.

I am now going to spend time changing the references in a paper to a different format so the journal will accept my paper even though they do have copy editors and for a 5K USD open access fee they could bloody well do this themselves. But no. Another win for billion dollar publishers.

If you're a physically disabled woman in BC who needs a mechanical lift or other devices to use diagnostic equipment make sure you don't have any gynecological or other women's health issues. Because even at our provincial centre of excellence you will be SOL if your mother isn't there to lift you.
