The rich greens of a summer woodland. A little way off the beaten track, I found this once fallen tree that sprouted new growth many years ago. The fallen trunk now supports multiple younger trees, all making their way and apparently thriving. A 'Phoenix Tree' - risen from the ashes. #PhotoRippin

Autumn & Winter. I revisited this spot today in local woodland during heavy rain, and it was well worth getting soaked through. The colours were magical, with an array of green, yellows and oranges. The winter scene, on the other hand, is desolate & cold. Which do you prefer? You can say both! 😆
