Okay despite being cut from the same pattern pieces I'm finding that the wool skirt *definitely* has more ease going on in the waistband area, so now I'm wondering if the wool is just stretchier than the muslin or what? Wonder if I'm going to need to take in the side seams before I do the waistband.

Got the main fabric pieces of my skirt cut out, still need to do the waistband lining & I still don't have the interfacing I'll need so I need to get that and cut some 😅 But I can at least get started constructing the garment

Muslin for my skirt complete! I think I will lengthen this by like 2-3" or so but otherwise the fit seems good, and this was a good test run to get a sense for the construction of the garment. Excited to start on the actual fabric later in the week probably ☺️
