Finally watched KPop Demon Hunters with the 6yo. She loved it (she has been bopping along to Golden for months already).

Back from a week in France where we had pastries every day for breakfast. Considering releasing a flock of sparrows into the car to clear the crumbs

Ok so

S3 E6. Good episode, again some moments from the books truthfully retold. However, I cannot get over the fact that of all the accents they could have chosen for the inhabitants of the rough, seedy city they went with... Scouse

Just watched S3E4 of
#TheWheelOfTime
and I cannot sleep because it was so. Damn. Good. Very emotional that they portrayed such a pivotal book moment so truthfully. Wow

Critical thinking and reasoning skills definitely need teaching and developing in this day and age. Mainly against the spread of false information, bots, AI posts etc but also so people can understand the fucking joke on a cute dog account

New hobby: reporting all the reels about autism "remission" for false health information. So ableist and a load of absolute rubbish

Ok, so they whole starting the day again kind of worked. I took the dog for a run and we all ended up heading to IKEA for the evening

First official day of half term, we've already had extra screen time, kids whacking each other with wooden weapons, spilt orange juice thanks to the kitten. Sent everyone back to bed for 10 minutes and we're going to start again

Looking forward to this! My 5yo absolutely loves these books. Such beautiful illustrations and the stories are super wholesome with just the right level of peril and adventure! 💙📚

Today I was very grown up and cleared the hallway shelf and tidied the shell collection on the bathroom window ledge. Tomorrow, we tackle the garage!

Her Majesty's Royal Coven. Quite liked it! I had no idea what to expect when I started it. A good solid story, some tense moments, twists and a nod to current gender conversations. Some of the dialogue was a little clunky? Cheesy? But I did enjoy the 90s nostalgia! 💙📚

11yo has been invited to his mate's tomorrow and I asked what they'd be doing. "Important things". Turns out they've started a coven.

Panto today, penultimate performance again came through for comedy value. Captain Hook's fake leg on the outside of his horse came off and he had to finish the scene on his knees

Awake at 0645, out of bed 0715, present opening, turkey in oven, cheeky 15 minute nap, eat, walk with oldest's new scooter, Wallace and Gromit, kids' bedtime. Just time for a plate of nibbles before I pass out from exhaustion
