Tork has lymphoma. He had his first chemo yesterday. He was very brave and charmed all the ladies at the hospital. If the chemo is successful we can hopefully buy him a year of feeling pretty decent. My heart is shattered 💔

I went to a bar to watch the All Star Game last night. The guy sitting next to me who is active in the annual motorcycle rallies this week. They still have a bikini contest but they were so concerned a trans woman might participate they almost cancelled the contest. So many levels of wrong. 🤦🏼‍♀️

The Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 called for dismantling the NOAA, which provides warnings of natural disasters, such as the deadly floods in Texas. The irony is that Heritage wanted these cuts because it’s angry that NOAA helps prove the reality of climate change--the thing causing floods.

I was listening to @npr.org tonight while I was walking Tork. The story about American anthems game on and I had to stop and sit on log and cry for what we have lost. Then I looked up and saw this little guy. Beauty is still around us 💙
