because Pierce has a fleet shortage on the Sound Transit side, ST decided to transfer two LFRs that were surplus from CT. however, this LFR is in PT’s dead/retired line. this is because CT subcontracts its ST ops, and the op barely maintained them and ran them ragged. East Base’s fleet manager decided to do a big funny and deployed RapidRide coaches across a lot of its routes, as well as deploying standard coaches on the B Line. While most were trippers, only doing one or two runs in the morning, there were several that are staying on all-day, like this on rt 255
