Episode 17 of the Pokemon anime has to be one of my favorites with the pokemon all having subtitles.

I'm just realizing that 4 of my top 5 games of all time got representation during the Switch 2 launch. 1. Donkey Kong Country 2. Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 3. Metroid Prime 4. Star Fox 64 5. Pokemon Red/Blue Either I'm insanely lucky or Nintendo knows all too well who's buying this console.

I muscled through and beat Command. It's a fairly short game, but it's designed to be re-played. Like most other Starfox games. This one in particular though is quite repetitive and I don't see myself going back to it right now. Also, Slippy is OP... Now... That ending...🧵👇

Am I missing something or is the beginning of Starfox Command like insanely hard? As soon as you get to Fichina, you're kinda thrown in with no understanding of the no map strategy. There are also a TON of failure points. Like too many... Continued below.

Starfox Command is... Interesting. To be fair I'm only 30 minutes into the game, but it's been like 20 minutes of exposition, 5 minutes of tactics, and 5 minutes of actual flying. And so far I don't love the touch screen controls. Maybe it'll grow on me idk.

Starfox Assault complete! The story is great. It's not the most well acted game in the world, but I welled up at the end. And the final boss was tough. All of the flying missions were fun as hell. They did a great job harkening back to Starfox 64.

Ok so Starfox Assault is low-key incredible. Like I remember it was pretty good. But I haven't given it a good playthrough in 20+ years The controls need some QOL. But overall swapping between vehicles mid-mission works well. Mission 5 was downright disturbing.

Starfox Assault fucking slaps. That is all.

I guess I skipped Starfox (SNES) I've beaten that game several times and honestly it's kind of a slog to get through these days. It's a technical marvel, but it's a damn slideshow. Lol. Moving on to Assault next and I'm HYPE! I haven't played this game in forever.

I beat Starfox 64 last night on original hardware. I'll die on this hill. Starfox 64 is the most well made N64 game. An absolute rock solid game from beginning to end. No notes.

Last night my 10yo and I brought Necromolds to our local table top gaming shop's "open play night" 2 of the owners stopped by with interest!
