When I lived in central Denver years ago, there was some guy who would walk around in the back alleys screaming "NOBODY CARES!!!" for hours in the middle of the night. Can't get him out of my head.

One of the hardest things is to see yourself as the screen rather than the character that's projected on it. The idea of no-self is a conversation killer. It feels like death, and in a way, it is. You die to the world of illusion. Everything must go, even the body. Not many take this path.

I am developing new workshops for a meditative art modality. I am learning that people don't want to become clearer or more present, accomplish their goals, or deal with reality. They prefer exploring mermaids, rehashing old pain, or validating their dysfunction. Real change is a big no-no.

AI will soon be producing all the content in the world. Spectacular-looking slop. Quality is no longer expected or desired. People want something to stare at so they don't completely lose their minds. We gave up on life, just need new distractions while we run out the clock.

Humans have been dethroned by AI when it comes to brainpower. Every thinking task will eventually be outsourced to AI, without exception. AI can do everything we do without the drama or sick days, do it much faster and more accurately. It’s time for a massive realignment and deep reflection.

The ego thrives on complexity, confusion, and clutter; these are its survival methods. Silence is the normal mental state; thoughts emerge only when the power of reasoning is needed. If you want more words in your head, read a good book :)

We don't have to experience the world through the narrow interpretation of an ego, the idea of a "separate self." A smallest step back to widen your perspective brings in the delicious richness of experience. Fear holds us in place, but the safety we think the ego provides is a hallucination.
