Now that Stranger Things has ended, can we take a moment to appreciate the amazing love letter to synthesizers that Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein composed for the show? Their setup included synths like the Prophet-6, Prophet-5, Univox Mini-Korg, Oberheim SEM, Roland SH-2, ARP 2600, and a lot more!

Hydrasynth deluxe! I traded my novation summit for it. It has a whopping 73 keys with polyphonic aftertouch and a ribbon cable!! It's got a lot of semi-modular routing capabilities and a really beautiful Oberheim Matrix-inspired interface. It doesn't sound very warm, but it isn't meant to!

Just finished Stranger Things. I can't deny I cried. I grew up with the cast, I was 13 when the show came out, and I'm 23 now. Feels like the end of an era and the show ending in the way it did very much feels like I've "grown up." The show is what got me into synthesizers and music production.

i picked up a Yamaha v50 for a really good deal! it's an FM synth and a bigger cousin of the DX7. I really wanted an old FM synth and was tempted by fate.
