Rolled credits on 007 First Light. Not without some tech issues but still thoroughly excellent. Depending on how you play, it's similar to Uncharted or Deus Ex, with some light Hitman DNA. GOTY contender. Can also see one or two VAs of the year in it.

Finished Call of the Elder Gods. I thought it was pretty good with some tricky puzzles. The story was decent, though playing Call of the Sea first is what I'd recommend. Just some weirdly-timed voicelines but otherwise very good VA. Graphics are stylised but pretty. For me, it's an 8/10. YMMV.

I don't know who needs to hear this but... It's NOT "DRAMA" when the law is involved. That shit is real and serious.

RE: StreamElements (This is going to be long.) To get everyone on the same page, here's a breakdown on what's happening, because rumors always travel further and faster in a vacuum. Earlier today, there was an initial rumor that StreamElements was laying off all staff and shutting down.

It's been a tough week in a lot of ways, but I'm glad I had already booked a few weeks leave off work awhile back. No plans now but to relax, play games, and maybe stream a bit more (though now hearing potential StreamElements news I might have to re-jig my setup soon, as I use OBS with SE Live)

Despite being sick (stomach bug), I had a decent couple of days sailing for Sea of Thieves' Community Weekend. I'm glad they added the CoFs to the Questboard, because it gave me something low-effort to do that felt rewarding enough. I did 8 hours of that yesterday and got 9 CoFs.

I guess it's that time for my Game of the Year... Well, surprising no-one, it's Clair Obscur: Expedition 33... It's actually probably the best game of the last decade. Runner ups: Blue Prince, Dispatch, and The Alters are all excellent. Also, Lightyear Frontier, but that's in Early Access still.

A quick audio tip for streamers, because I hear this a lot where stream levels are super conservative/very low. The "red" on OBS meters kicks in at -9dBfs. As long as you stick a peak limiter on (say at -3dBfs) you don't need to be too worried about going into the red by a bit...
