IT Dept did an overnight stealth upgrade of PCs in work to Windows 11... I've spent 8 hours with it and hate it. Functionally, not that different to Win10, but soooo many really bad UI design decisions. It's honestly baffling.

Mulling over how to do my controller button binds in @seaofthieves.com when we get separated secondary interact and weapon swap with today's update. A good first step, but the lack of bindable options is still an issue, and I will continue to push for a shift-modifier system to add more binds.

I rarely get to sail on it, but yesterday I gave my galleon, Gally McBeal, a makeover with the new crest and using the same cosmetics combo from the Whimsical Skedaddler sloop. I think this works very well on a galleon (cosmetics listed in alt text)

Fighting social anxiety is tough. Every day is a struggle between not wanting to be perceived vs not wanting to be alone all the time. I don't think "normal" folks understand how difficult it really is.

I've heard a few people mention the ending of Mass Effect 3 lately, in context of the illusion of choice and endings. 13 years later, my opinion hasn't really changed all that much. That whole game is the ending of the trilogy and your choices in 1 and 2 are paid off throughout.

Upgraded to a Radeon 9070XT last week and other than a very odd issue with HDCP*, I'm pleasantly surprised at how smooth the switch from Nvidia was and how solid the AMD drivers are. Having 16GB VRAM makes a big difference in newer games.

If Clair Obscur doesn't win Game of the Year, I'd be very surprised. It's going to take a near-perfect game to beat it, in my opinion. While it still has some AA/indie jank, the gameplay, art design, story, voice acting, and music are all phenomenal. It fully deserves all the accolades.

Between Andor and Skeleton Crew, it's clear that there are still great stories to tell in the Star Wars universe, and they don't have to even strike the same tone.

Between Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Andor*, it feels that Frenchness is en vogue, très à la mode. Enjoying both very much, so no complaints. (*even though the Ghorman language is only based on French phonetics)

Fun, tricky, tower defense game. Well-priced. And it has controller support, which is a big thumbs up from me. (Devs, if your game CAN support controllers, add controller support. It goes a long, long way to making your game accessible to a lot more players.)

Siegecaster, an active skill-based siege defense game, is available now! This was a personal project created with a small team, and my friends say, "I was playing it to be polite, but then it was four hours later, and I actually liked it!" Getting the word out is still hard, so all RTs appreciated!

I reached *that* moment in Clair Obscur. But I have a feeling there are plenty more *that* moments ahead. This game cuts deep. Despite also loving Blue Prince, I think Clair Obscur is more GOTY worthy for more people. Both incredible games though. I really need more hours in the day.

A weekend listening to Skeletá and it has really grown on me. I think Guiding Lights is possibly the strongest track. Don't travel a road that leads nowhere, living here and now is what matters, not what may or may not come afterwards.

Ghost new album Skeletá is *very* 80s rock. Really liking it. Not sure if it's as good as IMPERA, it's a slower burn for me, but it's pretty great. If you're unsure if you like metal, this is a lighter entry and very accessible. If you're not singing Lachryma to yourself all day, I'd be surprised 🤘💀
