I now have an insane setup for my 3D workflow!!! wasnt too sure about trackball being efficient and yes im still getting used to it so it doesnt replace the mouse yet but its really comfortable to use while blocking out or going around in viewport. (i just wish i had the white one (and wireless))

Level Design and Art advice: Polish your spaces through imperfections. Drop your ruler, don't make everything clean and squarish, it's soooo rare to have perfect metrics in real life and your space will feel much more believable if things are a bit wonky and imperfect.

my peak work performance comes when i have 2 different media open on the side. One for body doubleing (a twitch a game development stream or a podcast) and the other for stimulation (like animal crossing no commentary gameplays or other cozy games) This is just like the 3 drinks for adhd people

I was trying to optimize my shaders and lights but i dont think i actually understand the shader complexity viemode. Most of my materials are from the same master material (with a lot of parameters) but there is one object that shows up white in shader complexity. 🥲

Deathloop is free on Epic Games right now. It is one of my favorite games worldbuilding wise and aesthetically. As a big fan of retro futurism I appreciated every detail especially the environmental props and the lore. So yeah I'd recommend it!

I have many (to be) portfolio pieces and yet again I’m starting a new one. Hurray me!!

What I've found is: even a fucking Pinterest is more useful as visual direction than AI. You need aesthetic sense to assemble it, you need a broad understanding of form and sources to source it, but done right, it CAN be useful. It CAN be concept. AI, meanwhile, is a steamy shit on your production.
