God I love Vicodin. The puncture site was ouchy but now it’s not! (According to the DE*, this is drug abuse because the med is prescribed for my feet and hand. For pain.)

They got a nerve bundle that controls the sympathetic nervous system in my leg. So I can use my leg but it feels fuzzy. We need a bit to know if it works. Sign that something ain’t right: you get a nerve block and swelling goes down.

Got a nerve block for my R foot in a couple hours. Will report back. It’s supposed to the leg version of a stellate ganglion block for arms. I’ll find out the name, I never remember names but function. You should hear me talk about cars.

FYI, heating coils and other bits of #MMJ resin-heating gizmos cannbe cleaned with alcohol wipes meant for eyeglasses. Personally, I prefer soaking the bits (unplugged) in Everclear. (Pure ethyl alcohol.) But I realize it’s not legal everywhere.

The blue enamel kokoshnik. Named for the blue enamel it’s made of, that’s not sapphire or something. The kokoshnik is a common tiara shape named for a Russian folk headdress.

#JewelWatch A quick thread about tiaras. More specifically, convertible tiaras. First of all, tiaras usually have something called a 'frame', which is just what it sounds like. It holds the tiara up above the hair, and gives somewhere to hook hair pins. They are wrapped in velvet ribbon.
