Finally got around to posting my mask up on Cults3D and Printables! This thing was a blast to design and am excited to try out making more masks in the future!

Have been playing a ton of Legends ZA the last few weeks and it inspired me to make something I haven't really tried before. Behold, a magnetic Pokeball! Up now on Cults3D and prints in multiple pieces, support free!

Going to change gears for next year. Another OC I will be bringing to life starting with pulling out my sewing machine and trying out this pattern. Honestly planning for Renaissance Faire in October next year, Halloween will just be another excuse to wear what I make 😅

Haven't been on much lately but working to get back around to more progress on things. Finished my mask and another Halloween down in the books. On to next years project now! Thinking we will be doing some sewing this time round!

Been busy prepping a new OC for Halloween this year, a lot left to do but progress is being made. Have a prop for him I will be sharing soon that is most of the way designed!

Have had this Sabine Wren helmet sitting in the non-base coated state for some time. Printed, sanded, resin coated, sanded, primed and finally got to a base graphite colored coating today. Next step is taping off and learning some airbrushing!

Having fun with turning decal SVG files into something a bit more solid with the help of Fusion360 but may attempt in Blender with help of CAD addon and see if it can be made cleaner.

Purry the Platiplorse. Was trying some paint markers out, tried some other things and then tried fixing those things and well, here we are 😬

YMMV on the excitement level of coming across a $20 Steam Link at a Goodwill but mine is through the roof. My Steam Controller finally had the dust blown off it and now time to dig through my massive backlog from the couch 😅

Got some inspiration to learn some new tricks in blender and try my hand at an ice cream smeared against something. Pink is roughly life size. Green is 60% with holes added for magnets.

Finally decided to pull the trigger on Diablo IV and decided to load up Diablo II on Switch and go back in time while waiting for it to download.

Haven't been doing much creative this week and people's feeds are full of a lot of terrible things going on so here is my cat, Larry, mid brain cell reboot. He sat like this for a good 5 minutes before decided he did indeed want to attack.

So the helmet is.... well it's certainly something so far 😅 The topology isn't winning any awards but feeling better about general early shape. The process is painful but feeling like Blender skills are mildly improving one vertex at a time 😬

Still on my TPU obsession and picked up some Sunlu Silk TPU. Giving some flexible and print in place stuff a try to see what happens. Starfish came out better than expected, the infinity cube is a bit stiff where joints fused but works. Links to files I used off Thingiverse in ALT description. 😅

Judge me however you like, Green Day is and always will be my favorite band, so of course the first vinyl I would buy is one of their albums. Need to get Dookie on the way soon, first CD I ever owned and my introduction to them as a teen 🤘

A little bit of time for Blender tonight and it's... a start. Not accustomed to using just planes to build an object so a lot of fiddling. Face part is bothering me but a lot left to work on so plenty opportunity to tweak. Trusting the process is extra challenging at the moment. 😅

This little guy came home with me yesterday, guess I should find it something to play now.

Got a hold of a 3D scanner so of course first thing I did was scan my head. Finally now going to try out designing a helmet to start on an OC I've wanted to bring to life for a while now. First run so may wind up restarting once I get the hang of it. Unsettling scan of head not included this time 😅

Watched a movie, got inspired. Then I stopped by the library, checked out and read a couple books and then watched some YouTube videos... This is a bad idea for 4th project right? Right?

Got these for Christmas from my incredible wife. Copies of Doctor Who comics starring the 12th Doctor played by Peter Capaldi. Thankful I can find the digital copies on Hoopla so I won't mess them up reading them 😅

Finished Gengar. Happy with 3rd hand embroidery attempt and the amount of mild disproportionate derpy-ness and strangely camouflaged coloring it brings 🤣 Next project going to implement some blending techniques I've seen and see how that goes 😬

A couple more update photos. Feeling like there is a lot left to do to improve and fix but also feel like each mistake brings a little more improvement. Got some ideas for a completely different project so we will see how long this fixation lasts 😅

Currently hating that awkward space between reading all of one book series and starting another. Any recommendations for a Peter V. Brett / Brent Weeks / Mark Lawrence style book lover? Going against my better judgement and trying to expand my favorite author collection 😅
