Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Amen.

Tender God, Your love is unconditional. Wider, deeper and truer than we can ever fully know. For those of us who find it hard to accept ourselves, hear our prayer. Amen.

Loving God, make us passionate people for You. Let us draw strength from the passionate people who have walked this way before us. Amen.

Songs of Praise released their top 20 Assembly bangers but as we have many of our friends whose favourite school assembly songs dion't make the list we thought we'd start our own poll! Please comment below on your favourite songs you sang at school assembly.

So the BBC Songs of Praise assembly songs votes are in! What are we thinking? I had a personal favourite called ‘Let There Be Peace on Earth’. A lot of my favourites not on the list. Starting to wonder if my school was a bit niche! 🤣 What would you add?

Risen Jesus, you promise to be with Your disciples until the fulfilment of all things. Thank You that there is nowhere we could be where You are not. Amen.

God, send us out into Your world to be a people who choose Your way of love. Whether we go into a garden or wilderness, we go with You. Amen.

It's a dogs life

Almighty and merciful God, you are more ready to hear than we to pray, and you give more than either we desire or deserve. Pour down upon us the abundance of your mercy. Amen.

God, You hold open Your hands of blessing for all. As we offer our prayers and our worship in adoration and thankfulness, we know that in Your mercy, You hear us and in Your grace. You guide us and love us. Amen.

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Come again among us, Holy Spirit, move, wind, and weave Your ways. Speak to us through Your Word, transform us into Your likeness, we pray. Amen.

Lord God, You are steady, Your love is constant, faithful without end, we praise You again today. Amen.

May the God of love fill Your heart with peace and send You into the world to live it. And the blessing of God Almighty, our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer, be with You and those You love, this day and always. Amen.

Go to celebrate the God who is our home forever. Go to follow Christ's example in loving God, self, and neighbour. Go with the Holy Spirit to change the world with love. Go to seek God's kingdom in all you say and do.

This moment in time, God, is nothing in the grand scale of Your awesome plan. But it is our opportunity to recognise that every second, of every minute of every hour, of every day is everything, because of Your limitless love.
