FEH's Choose Your Legends: Shadows Cup is open to ALL (non-Lyn) characters, including previous CYL winners. So Ike, Dimitri, Edelgard, ect... The winners this time are the single most popular character of each move type, not the top 2 Men/Women. Here are the likely frontrunners:

The CYL Shadows Cup actually seems like a good solution to an ever-creeping issue. At this point, FE's popular characters have long since won CYL, so people have stopped caring as much. Bringing the heavy hitters back into the running drums up more hype and eyes to the event.

Ilian Pegasus Knight banner... ...with only ONE Ilian Pegasus Knight actually present ..and she's double backpacked and paired w. Hilda. Honestly, truly hate to see it.

Ilia cultural banner, it seems. Azura seems a sensible fit per Sky Knight passing to Shigure but the ahoge strikes me as RD Mia, and she doesn't really ever talk with the Begnion Pegasus Knights. Usually only 1-2 cultural hosts, so baring Juno, it could be any Elibe Pegasister.

I love that FEH decided that the endgame of Florina's character was her getting an A support with Lyn. The unit has both her FE7 goals met—she becomes "a proper Pegasus Knight" Lyn can rely on & conquers her fear of bows. And her own bow is even wrapped w. Lyn's boot wraps. Cute. Love this alt. 💜💚

Given that both Ivy & Camilla fall into the "avatar worshipper" archetype, this is a fairly sensible pair. Ivy herself feels "especially" similar to Camilla in regards to things like class, visual language, & cutscene framing, w. the later even fitting Camilla more than Ivy imo.

Gatekeeper now has a new English VA. Kylen Deporter. You might know the dude as Asbel in FEH or Alain in Unicorn Overlord. It's likely then that Soren and Alm will be getting recast as well for all future and the presently JP VA only alts.

As BlueSky is the place where I can yell about whatever w/o a care of algo niches niches... God, I'm so happy we're getting another Divinity game. DoS2 is fantastic and with the accolades and lessons learned with BG3, I can only imagine what the new Divinity will bring. Solasta 2 is cool too. 👍

This is either an error or just an extrapolation of the original text, but in FE7, Lyn is never stated to have learned archery from her father Hassar, only swordplay. Big Gacha once again continues to push its bow Lyn agenda... 🤔

FEH when it sees a marketable "Blade Lord"

After almost 9 years, I've +10'd every Lyn in Fire Emblem Heroes! 🎉 That's 111 separate copies of Lyn--122 copies if we're including her backpacked Duo with Mark. I'm looking forward to being able to save up orbs again. Sure do hope nothing happens to upend this milestone. 🙃

Nintendo Dream made an oopsie and posted the FEH banner early. 😩 For what complaints people will likely have, it's almost assuredly going to outsell all of the other New Heroes Banners released this year by a fair margin.

So what actually makes a Fire Emblem character a lord? Their class name? Seize capability? Being a game over condition? Nope. It's the ability to sloppy kiss a Pegasus Knight. Anyway, here's the list separating the Lords from the frauds. 👍
