a lot happened this year, huh? made real strides in art improvement, fulfilled a lifelong dream of working on more story-focused comic art, did more experimental things, learned more about color, got more into character design...it's been a good year for me all around

The thing is like if we want to fight back against prudery and sex negativity we also have to stop referring to stuff as 'gooner art' and accept that nsfw shit that reads as 'for the male gaze' has as much a right to exist as your favourite yaoi

We hold each other accountable so we can do better, not because people deserve to be punished and irrevocably cancelled. If your praxis doesn't leave room for people to get better, maybe you're just looking for reasons to bully people or maybe you still have growing up to do.
