I recently found myself, having arrived a bit early for an appointment, reading a book in a public waiting room. While turning the page, the person seated near me politely asked, "Why are you reading?" Not what I was reading, but why. What do you even say to that??? We are so doomed.

I truly don't understand the logic behind all this "anti rich people" sentiment in America. It's very convenient to place the mantle of blame on "rich people" but so much harder to admit you keep electing politicians that accept money for favors. Quit doing that, and the money doesn't matter.
