Today's 5 minute accomplishment; writing an app to re-route WOL magic packet from usb tethered device to the rest of the network. Now I just run an adb command so that my app can broadcast the request to the LAN.

Termux + X11 + proot + Debian + xfce4 + openjdk + Android Studio + aarch64 build tools. Not a ground breaking thing but it turns out that modern mobile CPUs are really good. No fans, no warming. Android Studio indexing and building the project has been a smooth experience.

Today's achievement was successfully building and running the desktop sample. Tomorrow the goal is to run the android sample on the same phone.

I don't think this is what Compose Multiplatform's supposed to be 😅 Termux, Termux X11, proot debian, xfce4 desktop. IDEA works very well and is quite responsive. Next up; compiling compose-richtext and actually running the android app on the phone.

My Pixel Fold's inner screen couldn't make it to 2 years. A bright line appeared towards the bottom of the screen. It was a test unit so no harm done. Honestly I would have gotten the new pixel fold at full price, only if this exact thing didn't happen :/ Time to go back to regular phones...

I have seen this happen in few Reddit threads in the last year. Someone writes a fact in a comment. Somebody else comes in and corrects them. Usual Reddit, right? But recently I started seeing apology comments along the lines of "sorry ChatGPT's mistake". The guy doesn't even do a simple fact check.
