Las Vegas Food Thread Day 5: Tried multiple new spots on my last day in town. Went to Blueberry Hill Family Restaurant and had strawberry crepes. It was delicious. Capped the day with steak at Barry’s downtown prime. I’m not going to lie the quality did not match the price unfortunately.

Las Vegas Food Thread Day 2! Tacos El Gordo is my favorite spot in the city and it’s a must every year. Usually go to the location on Sunset. Tried beef shoulder (Suadero) for the first time and had my personal favorite beef head (Cabeza).

We have VAR both deciding to not have the on field official look at calls that are very much questionable, and when VAR does have the ref take a look, the decisions are always reversed, indicating VAR has already decided

The issue isn’t “people not liking what they thought they wanted.” The issue is even with the ability to watch a play multiple times with multiple camera angles, officials are still screwing up important decisions. The main issue is no transparency. Croatia’s disallowed goal is a perfect example.

The key is that it was Wemby committing the foul. If you don’t call it, it can’t be a flagrant. One more flagrant and Wemby would be suspended. That is as blatant of an example of a landing area flagrant. Brunson got hurt. Now watch the NBA say it isn’t so Wemby can play in Game 6.

Brunson’s passing has been horrendous. Throwing it at his teammates ankles, sloppy turnovers, and then at the end of the quarter holding the ball instead of instantly swinging it. Clarkson would’ve had a wide open three but instead Brunson’s hesitation allowed the Spurs defense to rotate.

Playing small against Wemby is guaranteed to fail defensively. He’s too tall. If the Spurs can just throw the ball in his general vicinity and you can’t defend that, they are getting dunks or wide open threes every possession. There’s no offensive benefit that is worth that
