I dont wanna get into too much detail here, but just before BFC, I had a pretty major life event that really threw me. I know I've probably seemed a little 'off' since then, but for the most part, I'm honestly kinda proud of myself for how well I've been handling it.

when I was at BFC this year, I kept occasionally bumping into younger furries that already knew who I was and like.... were excited to meet me? a few of them even said that they had been following my posts ever since they'd joined the fandom. o//o It was weird, but like, not in a bad way!

Sometimes I like to think about "Big Coobah" like, the fully grown version. I imagine that he towers over most people, and is very strong, stalwart, and tough... but also very quiet and sensitive. The kind of friend that would always be there to protect you, but still needs soft cuddles.

ALSO I can tell that I'm at least starting to feel better because my appetite came back this morning and suddenly little boar is RAVENOUS 😵‍💫

My favorite thing about having a large breed dog is that, even if I'm sick, I still have someone that I can give really big warm hugs. She's the perfect size! TwT

I've been trying really hard to be "ok" since I left BFC... The better part of me knows that my friends havent really gone anywhere, and that I'll be able to see them again... but I guess maybe because I'm also sick, its just been harder? I guess I'm just a bit tender rn, emotionally.

I tried doing a covid test earlier and I dropped the tube after peeling the foil off and it spilled D: I was already pretty sure based on my symptoms but the fact that I messed up the test just felt like weirdly "affirmative"
