Hello! You might have noticed that no new episode came out last week. The crew behind Codex Entries has been going through a weird and bad time this month, but we’ll be back on schedule soon!

We finished act 2, and it all went perfectly according to plan! We overcame multiple game crashes, pondered Bioware’s casual deployment of “foreign hordes”, engaged in the most frustrating combat section of the game so far, and reached a resolution (of a kind) with the Qunari. Up next: the DLCs!

in ep 5 we continue our adventures in act 2 and complete so many quests! We find out what happened to the missing Qunari, get a templar cancelled, watch our party members get manipulated by demons, try to resolve some of Varric’s family troubles, and discuss how fucked we are politically. Out now!

Episode 4 has us traveling to the deep roads, and wow they sure are deep! Everything down there goes perfectly fine for both Hawke and their sibling, and they emerge with some normal treasure. With that we wrap up act 1 and begin act 2, which immediately complicates everything going on in Kirkwall.

In episode 3 we immediately deconstruct our Gamlen Respect Zone, badmouth the templars on both personal and structural levels, investigate a bizarre murder, solve Kirkwall’s local bone pit problem, and serve some sort of justice out on the Wounded Coast. Out now!
