got to use the new LAX/Metro transit center for the first time today but deadass it took about as long to get to downtown as it did flying down which in retrospect ain't too surprising when you're not being carried by someone that drives

despite taking my time boarding and being in some of the last body of people to board, no one was even in my row yet 🤔

I've never seen such a high number for requested volunteers to check their bags in from low overhead bin space ig this is what happens when you basically give overhead bins either for free or chump change, you fill almost 230 seats, and you don't install the new bins to fit more bags

the routing for today's (and yesterday's) plane is MCO-LAX-SFO-LAX-MCO and we are on board for the penultimate segment it seems

casually paying $15.98 for my Frontier flight so I can spend $19.51 on a breakfast bowl at Mama Go's ig this is what they mean by being lured in with a low fare and paying for extra things

for $16, elite gold perks included (bag, seat selection and no fees to cancel or change), and they even offered to exchange my carry-on for a checked bag, I'm still not complaining given the circumstances

best buy gave me a $10 coupon for the month; sounds good right? then I try searching on the app and it's pushing using their AI search categories instead of, I dunno, showing me more results for what I'm originally searching for 😒 ("shop all" leads to lists of products irrelevant to my search btw)
