I am back! Well, I was never here, but I was there, and I'm not going to be there again, too many mean people. I was nowhere for a while, now I'm here. So, that's like being back? @aksan.dev are looking at me and shaking their head. Hi, Bluesky, I'm Bruce, I'm a teddy bear, a very big teddy bear!

We genuinely believe that most people that see Alexis must just believe that big patch on their jacket is declaring their appreciation of that well known band the 'They/Them'.

Alexis is fairly openly trans but we don't talk about the practicalities much. Well, today is day zero of hacking their endocrine system. Are we too late for the new year, new you trend?

Back home from Exmoor and everything is right in the house. A few days more rest as we try to uncoil our stress and then hopefully a return to the PhD. We'd say the writing projects but if we're unwinding then we're sneaking back to those as soon as our energy levels allow.

We have arrived upon our walking holiday and discovered we are outliers age-wise by about three decades from the rest. But everyone has been lovely and welcoming and we look forward to getting to know folks on the walks. Here's to the break that our mental health desperately needed.

We're away from life at the moment, taking some much needed rest time against burn out. But we just wanted to say that even in the face of a hostile world we fully intend to remain openly queer and keep writing about a world with trans gods and poly dragons, and bursting with diversity.

Something different, and delayed this week. (Sorry.) But here is an autobiographical story of how we got our names.

After a few delays, we finally overhauled the website to make it properly ours. Being us, we wrote something about it. Overall though, we are really happy, we feel like this just reflects us and what we do much better than it did.

I am intending to open up more about my mental health as I can. For a long time Charly has been a big part of my life, and the life of folks close around me, but as of today, I guess she's going to be a tiny part of everyone's life who knows us. We wrote a blog together to introduce things.

Today's story is one that meant a lot to me. A slice of life written to submit to a magazine a while back, but one that captures so much of why I love writing, and love writing the Caerulean Dragons. I hope just a fraction of that shows through.

Today's archive story is one that's always meant a lot to me, and to a dear and distant friend. It captured a palpable atmosphere in a way that I am still proud of and really encouraged me to push on with my writing.
