Staff being able to apply an adult content label to an entire acct overrides the label function and is not a good thing. Do you know how many newcomers don't know that their default moderation settings hide us from view completely and they just assume we don't exist? This is shoving us out of sight

If you have nsfw set to "hide" I implore you to set it to "warn". You still won't see anything except for a blurred post Otherwise once they roll out account-wide adult content labeling a whole lot of people including me are going to disappear from your timelines, even our sfw text posts

I'll say what Bluesky fails to address in v1.122 They've rolled out a new "adult content" tag applied on an entire account, hiding all their posts from users, including text posts, even if they may be SFW This update, while well-intentioned, defeats the whole purpose of the content filters system

Oh? Why? Because YouTube has it? Who needs this? Can you not just ask the streamer for a recap? How come we're sidestepping human interaction? Twitch does interactivity better than YT and now we're going one step back. This feature should and will be binned.

It's striking how badly Bluesky misunderstands and doesn't listen to its userbase. We didn't come here just to see our adult creative friends get suppressed just like every other platform. They should be treated with dignity and support so they can thrive. They need places to be able to do that.
