This is a bit of thinking out loud. I'm curious to hear how other people developing an app on Atproto are handling private in-app messaging? For obvious reasons, I'm hesitant to put this data in an encrypted way into people's pds's. Is this something that just has to live in the app-view/my stack?

Does @germnetwork actually work? I have yet to receive a DM, and the 2 DMs I have sent remain unanswered. The UX is also super confusing with this focus on multiple personalities (burner accounts). It would be sweet if it actually works, as the app I'm developing relies on DMs from bsky or germ.

So, I have "productized" my @ghost.org to @standard.site bridge here: tangled.org/timtrautmann... This seems to work pretty well with self-hosted instances. Ghost Pro users are facing the /.well-known issue, and I don't know how to solve it. Maybe using some Cloudflare tricks?
