31 Spooky Movies for October! 29. Thir13en Ghosts The practical effects and Matthew Lillard shine in this haunted house film on steroids. Greg Nicotero of The Walking Dead fame masterfully crafted each of the titular ghosts, and knocked it out of the park. Nicole: 7.5/10 Peter: 6.5/10

On this day in 1959, Martin Sloan took a mile-and-a-half walk back to his hometown and learned there's only one summer per customer in "Walking Distance". A phenomenal episode about slowing down and appreciating life accompanied by a legendary score by Bernard Hermann. #TheTwilightZone

October 20, 1961: Twilight Zone's "The Mirror" airs. Peter Falk plays a Castro-like leader who believes a unique mirror is exposing his assassins. Some critics dismiss it—and sure, it's not top-tier TZ—but I think it teaches a valuable lesson about the seductive nature of power.

31 Spooky Movies for October! 15. Freddy vs. Jason It delivers on its promise; Freddy and Jason versus each other QUITE a bit! There's not a lot else going for it, but it's always fun to watch Robert Englund be Freddy, and Jason has one of his most fun killing sprees Nicole: 6/10 Peter: 6.5/10

The third episode of The Twilight Zone, "Mr. Denton on Doomsday", premiered 65 years ago today! A somber tale of a beleaguered gunslinger who accepts a deal from a man named Fate. It features a memorable performance from Academy Award-Winner Martin Landau. #ZoneSky #Zoners
