I like to think that Arbok's hood patterns are influenced by their environment. When they evolve, they can take on the markings of their parent, or they take after the trainer who raised them. OR maybe the most intimidating thing they've seen

snake Either Atli or from that Herman vampire AU- but I based them both on the same personal lore so same difference. Used the European adder as inspiration.
