Despite the exhausting visit to the vet, I managed to revise chapter 18. I just need to do one more read-through to get it ready to upload on AO3. This chapter drained me with all the research. But I'm proud of it. So many new, original characters I'm about to introduce, and Aemond's ruthless side.

Chapter 17 is done and I'm so relieved I'll have one chapter to post this month at least.

Recently came across an AO3 Aemond fic that's 800k long, and while I bear no ill will toward the author, I felt bittersweet from seeing how many hits they have compared to my paltry 1970 hits. It relieved me that gigantic fics can get many hits, but also sad that mine has so few. Is it me at fault?
