Data cleaning popping up fun variants: MS 239/18 at the Rosenbach Library swaps the first line of Strode's 'Love is a game of tables' for 'Love is a game of Irish', a predecessor to backgammon. Sadly not actually related to Ireland, but still going to say the poem knew STEMMA would be in Galway...
