I just love being this silly birdie to bits, really looking forward to getting him out and about more someday when the heat’a gone for good!

Oh yeah, it’s (almost) the whole suit too! No gloves or tail feathers and the shoes are disintegrating (30 years will do that to foam) but otherwise a good find IMO. Just wish I weren’t too tall for the jumpsuit and shirt, but I can probably try to get them modified to fit better someday

Oh yeah, found this online for $150 so I may have snagged it. Should be in later this week if all goes well. Hopefully this one’s head will actually stay on unlike the latex Wile E. mask I have which likes to fall off if you look straight down (even though that one looks better).

Not only did I just get one of those “realistic robot puppy” ads on YouTube, but it was one where they were playing Jingle Bells on it. In May. With generative “ay-eye” footage (those bots probably exist here too by now). They’re not even trying anymore, are they?

Kept having to get new charging blocks because the ones I kept getting (which have folding prongs) kept acting up after a while. Let’s see how a non-folding one works for me.

I do genuinely wanna take him somewhere that would let him get his feathers out in the sun for a while. He’s overdue for a good adventure in my opinion.

Ready to hit the ice! Saw this jersey on eBay and I decided to snag it. Actually fits over the suit pretty well, and nice shape for being almost 30 years old! And yes, it has a ton of autographs on the front from actual players

Might be looking at trying to suit at a few spots in the mountains someday….I really need to let my nature side come out on here.

I’m probably gonna go ahead and ease back into posting like usual here to spread SOME positivity, but just know I’m still not happy with the results. I heard some are already calling for an investigation, and anything can happen in the next few weeks….doubt it’d change much, but who knows? (1/2)
