Some of the designs have gone through big tweaks just between the initial sketches for this reboot and the final version. Violet was in both Ch. 1 and Ch. 2's covers before her proper introduction, and she went through like 3 palettes in that time lmao

Originally, the plan was to just expand the intro to the series. Give some origins, fill out those initial events and then lead back into what came before. Nah. At this point, I've got different plans. Why stick to continuity I made when I was fresh out of college? I can do so much more now.

It's really funny to me that, in 2023, I drew essentially 150 rough pages for the reboot of my webcomic. Nearly two years later, the reboot has finally happened. And out of the 60 pages released so far... we've made it to page 14 of that initial draft, lmaooooo The end result changed so much.

Here's some quick doodles I threw together for Instagram about the temporary schedule change. These posts are usually pretty fun to do, since I get to use a much looser style.

Over the next few weeks I'll start filling out this page with art, comics, and WIP clips from The Witch's Trial. I'll have to see if it's better to post stuff on this page, or just use it for linking to new updates and whatnot. The comic will be updating weekly on Wednesdays for the next month!
