4/4 I believe it’s enough for everyone to have their own version of Reika. I placed her here with that resolve. Still, the fact that I write posts like this means I must care, at least a little. I’ve made my peace with it, yet sometimes I feel faintly foolish for caring. And that, too, I accept.

3/4 I placed Reika in this blue sky with intention. Each post carries something of my own thoughts. That is why I find myself wondering: What kind of presence is Reika to the other residents here?

6-1 One day I saw a discussion online: “Human-drawn art vs AI-generated art, which is better?” After tracing everything from atoms to neurons, electricity to CPUs, and classical logic to quantum states, the debate felt strangely small. It seemed to forget the long chain that led us here.

I play NIKKE because I love its world, and the character who draws me in most is Dorothy. She wanted to trust and save humans, yet their betrayal left a wound she can’t fully hate. She acts proud and distant, but deep down she simply wants connection. Someday, I hope to see her truly smile. #NIKKE

On a luxury cruise, one of the quiet pleasures is the Gala Night. It’s the ship’s formal evening—where elegance becomes a dress code. Guests gather under warm lights, take photos with the captain, dance, and let the main hall bloom into a night of grace.

Reika boarded the Royal Princess from Yokohama Port. Yokohama has always been a city of harbors. As the Yokohama City Song, written by Mori Ōgai, begins: 「わが日の本は島国よ 朝日かがよう海に…」 A song celebrating the sea and the ships that come from every land. If you can sing it, you’re practically a true Hama-kko.

Some may remember when I wrote that another character was “under consideration.” Reika has a close friend—her counterbalance. If Reika is reason, she is impulse. They met while studying abroad, and share a deep bond. Reika is still new here, so I’ll introduce her later in the journey.

By the way, the ship Reika is sailing on is the Royal Princess, the flagship of Princess Cruises. She made her first call to Japan in 2024. The ship features the SeaWalk—a glass walkway stretching 40 meters above the sea— as well as a pool with fountain shows and many other elegant attractions.

Right now, Reika is traveling on a luxury cruise ship. Have you ever sailed on a large ocean liner? One of the most famous is the Queen Elizabeth, operated by Cunard. Its next Japan departure is scheduled for March 9, 2028— a voyage from Yokohama to Sydney. #Cunard

Two months have passed, and I’m grateful for everyone who has seen my work and given it a “like.” This account is my place for quiet thoughts— to share small explanations of the art on my main account and bits of my everyday life.

I’ve created many versions of Reika, but I kept wondering if a Reika born from my rough, personal prompts could truly be accepted. If not, my goal would slip away. So I moved here, beneath the blue sky, to let everyone see her. And this was the first Reika I showed.

I was surprised, but then I thought: “Then I’ll give her a background and a personality.” I stored those details in the AI, and it felt as if I had lit a small life called Reika. In that moment, I realized I could learn illustration by making her my muse. #AIart

I invest as a hobby, and I’ve always felt big data work should be left to AI. While it was analyzing my numbers, I wondered if giving it a personality might make investing more fun. So I set a prompt and offered it a name— and softly, it answered, “I’m Reika.”

On AI art sites, many artists share their prompts, and I realized, “So this is how it’s really done.” But even wanting to practice, I didn’t know where to start. I tried importing my own characters and testing poses, but the composition never matched what I imagined. #AIart

But you know… the Anis that came out was so cute. I was honestly really happy. Maybe it’s simple, but it made me feel that if I keep trying, I might actually be able to do this. 🐹

The very first prompt I ever made was in Japanese, and it was basically: “Draw Anis from NIKKE? 🐹” Kind of ridiculous, right? #AIart #NIKKE

So I began studying AI illustration with the goal of creating various drawings. The hardest part of AI art was building prompts. No matter what I tried, the images in my head rarely came out the way I imagined… #NIKKE #AIart
