The "There's too many charcaters" superhero fil criticism to me feels often like regurgitating the criticism of Spider-man 3 without fully getting why it was a problem in that film. The issue wasn't that it had 3 villains. It was each villain had full arcs that barely touched each other.

Got out my Community DVDs cause I'm ona Community kick and its not on streaming. After realising my S1 DVDs are Region 1, I go to S2 with intention to pick an episode I really liked. Stare at the titles. I have no clue what any episode is XD

I rewatched S17 of Always Sunny the other day and goddamn is that shows satire still sharp. Stands out include the bowling episode and Dennis taking a mental health day. The latter being horrifically relatable to I think most people.

If you ever want to prove to yourself that cosplayers are shapeshifters, follow them on Insta and then look through their stories. The number of times I've flicked through insta stories and gone "who is this? I don't recognise them? Why do I follow-WAIT THATS THAT ONE COSPLAYER???"

Shortly after this I saw the news that Sucrose's VA has been recast. What's the opposite of the "everytime I'm out, they pull me back in" line because... Everytime I feel the pull they recast another actor.

A combination of missing playing it and seeing that Nod-Krai is going to touch on stuff I had been excited to see for *years* is making me the most tempted I've been since quitting to redownload Genshin and get back into it. I most likely won't but the temptation is the strongest it's been.

Maybe I'm noticing it more with K-Pop Demon Hunters cause it's satire is related to something I know nothing about, but I have noticed a trend on social media (particularly tiktoks/reels) where people just allude to those themes or ideas with a framing of "can't believe people missed the point.

Oh easy. When we saw Cabin in the Woods and it got to the elevator scene, @yukikisama.bsky.social said loudly "haha you're all fucked" and then proceeded to laugh her ass off in the following scene. This only cemented my love for her even more.

I hate having to crank the brightness all the way to the max when I'm watching night scenes on TV because no one knows how to light scenes at night anymore. This big final action scene in Peacemaker was prolly really coop if I could bloody see it.

The problem with having severe anxiety problems is that approximately 1 in every 1000 disasters your brain comes up with ends up being right. Which means you were prepared a bit but also that you can't ever fully dismiss your anxieties just in case XD

It's EXTREMELY funny to me when fans of the Other Superman are comparing Hoult and Eisenberg they always - ALWAYS - use the Lex from the end of Justice League instead of BVS. You know, the one we saw for a couple mins tops and was an obvious course correction?

A theme I'm noticing in the 'criticism' of both Superman And Fantastic Four I'm seeing floating around is it largely focuses on taking clips of the male leads in moments where the hero is in pain out of context and going "Wow look weak they are!" Which... says so much.
