OTT is like the MSG of the music world. you can sprinkle it everywhere, but too much, and suddenly you're overwhelmed by high-end, like you're on the floor spazzing out from all the extra flavor

did a quick test with the template i built over the past few days—seems to be working well! definitely want to strengthen my orchestral chops, both in mixing and arranging, but i'm really liking this workflow already. Cubase is absolutely goated!! 😤👌

thinking about upgrading my string ens. library but stuck between Cinematic Studio Strings or waiting for Aaron Venture Infinite Strings to release. at this rate, GTA 6 is dropping a full orchestral score recorded on Cinematic Studio Strings before Infinite Strings even drops lol

i've sent commission inquiries before, but it's always so mentally exhausting… this isn't just communication: it's a needlessly convoluted game of "how many ways can i say thanks?" without sounding weird

spent all morning setting up the perfect orchestral template in Cubase. started a project, immediately found a mistake just to find another shortly after. repeat x20. at this point, the real composition is just me updating the template 😂👌👌💀🔥

i've used oxford inflator before but now i'm starting to hear what it's actually doing and it's kinda mesmerizing… this plugin isn't just inflating audio: it's inflating my sense of wonder

i really like limiters for loud mixes. they keep my music from going overboard, but they also protect me from my own music. thank god!!
