Statement from Post Guild Leadership: The Washington Post Guild condemns the unjust firing of columnist Karen Attiah

We couldn’t be prouder to congratulate our colleagues @wapotechguild.bsky.social on their successful union election. Weeks of union busting from Post management didn’t stop them from achieving an overwhelming 82% victory. Solidarity forever! ✊

Washington Post management let us know they will NOT voluntarily recognize our union and are refusing to meet with Tech Guild leaders about election details. This is unacceptable. Today, we held a picket in partnership with our Post Guild colleagues to demand that the company listen to us.
