Sly Stone is foundational to hiphop. At the Black Star show in Sydney Australia, Yasiin Bey and I paid tribute to Sly by doing a rendition of one of the best songs to sample him, Because I Got It Like That by the Jungle Brothers. Rest in peace Sly! #hiphopsky
